Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be Female; and
• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizens, or the holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa; and
• Be enrolled or intend to enrol in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Diploma in Professional Engineering Practice (or the equivalent course) in the session immediately commencing the award;
• Be a Recent School Leavers with ATAR (or equivalent) of 85 or above (excluding adjustment points); the Faculty may consider applicants whose ATAR falls in the range of 80 to 85 (excluding adjustment points) depending on their suitability of the Scholarship or current UTS Engineering students who've demonstrated suitability for the Scholarship (application via invitation subject to the availability of places); and
• All candidates must apply using the UTS online Scholarships Application form to be eligible; and
• All candidates must be available to attend an interview in person (online or face-to-face); and
• All candidates must complete all required steps in the selection process to be eligible (including but not limited to pre-offer information questionnaire).
