About this opportunity
The purpose of the Scholarship is to support a first-year Bachelor of Music student who is undertaking practical study of an orchestral stringed instrument played with a bow.
You don’t need to submit an application for this scholarship. You’re automatically assessed for the scholarship during your audition for the Bachelor of Music.
Note that applications to audition open on Wednesday 6 May and close Monday 7 September 2026. For more information about the audition process (including closing dates and the application form) please visit the School of Music website.
Eligibility details
You're eligible if you:
- will be enrolled full-time in the first year of the Bachelor of Music or a dual program that includes the Bachelor of Music
- are the applicant showing the greatest merit in the audition on an orchestral stringed instrument played with a bow.
