The Macquarie Leaders and Achievers Scholarship recognises your potential and provides you with financial support while you study at Macquarie University.
Your scholarship eligibility will be considered based on your Macquarie Leaders and Achievers Early Entry Scheme application. Admission through the Macquarie Leaders and Achievers Early Entry Scheme does not guarantee a scholarship, as eligibility is based on merit and awarded to exceptional applicants.
Eligibility details
You must be applying for an eligible course:
- be a student who has performed well in your Year 11 studies.
- meet the leadership requirements
- be completing one of the following in 2026:
- an Australian Year 12 qualification (NSW HSC or interstate equivalent)
- the International Baccalaureate (IB) (November examinations).
- You must be a domestic or international student completing one of the following in 2026:
- an Australian Year 12 qualification (NSW HSC or interstate equivalent) in Australia or overseas
- the International Baccalaureate (IB):
- in Australia (domestic and international applicants)
- overseas (domestic applicants only) and sitting final examinations in November.
A domestic student is a person who intends to study in Australia and is one of the following:
- an Australian citizen
- a New Zealand citizen
- a holder of an Australian permanent visa.
