About this experience
Wakakirri would love to welcome you for work placement at our upcoming Live Shows!
You will be on the ground in the lead-up to, during & after the show, assisting with the many tasks that it takes to pull off a successful live theatre production. Anyone with an interest in Entertainment, Theatre, Production & the Performing Arts should not miss out on this opportunity & excellent credit to add to your CV.
- Meet the Waka team and venue crew and assist them with the running of the evening show.
- Marshal the performers, host and panel members between the stage and their holding spaces.
- Coordinate the pre-show portrait photo schedule.
- Assist with the collection of donations for the Wakakirri Inspiration Fund after the show.
- Create valuable work relationships with industry professionals !

- Canberra Theatre Tuesday 1 – Thursday 3 August and Tuesday 12 September (4 shows)
NSW
- NIDA, Kensington – Monday 7th to Wednesday 9th August and Monday 4th to Friday 8th September (8 shows)
- Riverside Theatres, Parramatta – Monday 14th to Thursday 17th August (4 shows)
- WIN Entertainment Centre, Wollongong – Wednesday 30th August (1 show)
SA
- Norwood Concert Hall – Tuesday 8th to Thursday 10th August and Tuesday 15th to Thursday 17th August and Wednesday 6th to Friday 8th September (9 shows)
QLD
- The Events Centre, Caloundra – Thursday 10th August (1 show)
- Logan Entertainment Centre – Monday 21st to Thursday 24th August and Thursday 7th to Friday 8th September (6 shows)
VIC
- Clocktower Centre, Monee Ponds – Tuesday 1st to Thursday 3rd August and Friday 1st, Friday 8th, and Monday 11th September (6 shows)
- Frankston Arts Centre – Tuesday 15th to Friday 18th August and Monday 4th September (5 shows)
WA
- Perth Concert Hall – Monday 7th August (1 show)
