This is Edition 8 of the Early Entry Guide (yes, our eighth year compiling every program in one place). The 2026 edition has been verified against each university’s published information at the time we’ve made this available, and reflects the latest application windows, eligibility rules, and offer timelines for the class of 2027.

Programs change at short notice, so we always recommend confirming details with the provider before applying. Every university entry in the guide includes a direct link to the official program page so you can do that easily.

Frequently asked questions

When does early entry actually open and close?

Most programs open between February and July, and close between August and November. A few smaller programs open later. The guide lists exact dates for every Australian university running an early offer program in 2026.

Can a student apply for early entry and still apply through ATAR?

Yes. Applying for early entry doesn’t lock anyone in. Students can hold an early offer alongside their normal ATAR-based applications, then choose which offer to accept later in the year.

Is the guide updated each year?

Yes. We release a new edition every year. The 2026 edition is the eighth annual release and is the version to use for students starting university in 2027.

Can we share this with our whole school?
